Veterinary Surgeon | Pontefract

We are looking for a Vet Surgeon to join a small animal practice based in a beautiful area in West Yorkshire. The team provide the highest standard of care and are proud to offer a wide range of services with excellent facilities.

The practice comprises 3 consult rooms, 2 surgical theatres, and with renovation plans being finalised will have a new improved layout coming that will aid high standard of clinical care.

The Role

• Vet Surgeon – full time permanent position, but flexible working on a full or part-time basis may be considered
• 4 days per week with weekend on a fair rota basis and time of in lieu

Salary and Benefits

• Salary package up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
• 5 weeks’ annual leave (FTE)
• 4 weeks’ paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
• Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
• CPD Allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE), along with exceptional in-house CPD training
• RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid

We are looking for a good all-round GP Veterinary surgeon, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries.
