Veterinary Surgeon | Colchester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a veterinary practice in Colchester-Essex!

This is a modern practice with an established, close-knit team and clientele. It is well equipped and offers laparoscopic spays, digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, dentistry, in-house lab and nurse consults.

The Role

• Veterinary Surgeon – full-time permanent position
• 4-day working week
• 1:3 Saturdays or 1:6 full weekends
• Fair share of bank holiday and on-call rota

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
• 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays
• Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
• £1,500 CPD Allowance plus 3 days CPD leave (FTE)
• RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid

We are looking for a good all-round GP Veterinary surgeon, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries.
