Veterinary Surgeon – Manchester

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s team in Manchester. This is a full time position.

The duties will include carrying out consultations, operations, inpatients,  and work-ups as expected for the level of experience. Ideally the candidate should be able to cope with most consults/routine operation without assistance.

This role would ideally suit someone who wishes to progress their basic skill set. We would happily support anyone wishing to pursue certification in a chosen field.

The Role

• 40 hours per week over 4 days
• Shifts: 8:00am-3.30pm, 9:00am-4:00pm, 9:00am-7.30pm
• Saturday morning from 8:30am-11:30am Sunday from 10:00am-11:00am (1:6-7 rota)
• Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience

There is a second on-call component is rota’d to give advice and support to the night Vets and occasionally you might need to come and help them.

Must be:

• MRCVS
• Experienced enough to be able to do most routine surgeries/consults without additional support
