Veterinary Surgeon – Leeds

This role will involve a mixture of consults and surgical cases. Our client is happy to tailor the clinical duties depending on your area of interest.  You will be working across the 2 sites.

There is no out of hours with this role; the ideal candidate would take a share in the weekend rota which is currently 1 in 5 (9-6 Saturday, 9-12 Sunday). A full time role would involve working 40 hours per week.

Every morning from 9.30-10 the diary is closed off and all clinical team members sit and participate in clinical rounds. Vets also have a day week off the rota to catch up on telephone calls, case research and CPD.

The successful applicant will be qualified and registered with the RCVS. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive, and organised with good communication skills.

About The Practice

Our client has an outstanding nursing team who are highly experienced and support the vets by performing nurse consults and schedule 3 procedures including ultrasound, blood sampling, IV catheter placement dental x-rays, scale and polish and much more.

They have 4 fully equipped rooms for general consults, prep room and separate theatre, separate cat and dog wards, a separate waiting area for feline patients. Their facilities offer an extensive array of medical equipment.
