Veterinary Surgeon – Isle of Man | Relocation Package

Our client is looking for a small animal vet surgeon to join their team.

The practice can consider full/part time applications.

Caseloads can vary and there is scope for you to develop your caseloads and have days allocated to your specific area of interest e.g.  surgery, ultrasound, dentistry to name a few.

A typical day on consults would include a range of 2-hour blocks for routines, non-routines, and emergencies.   Each vet also has ‘operation days’.  These ‘Operation days’ allow the vets to work more in their areas of interest: surgery, ultrasound, dentistry and finishes with an evening surgery.

Rota

• The full time rota is 36 hours per week between Monday-Friday (8:30am-6:30pm).
• Oout of hours is one night per week (or less) with 1:4 weekend which includes Saturday morning consults (9:00am-1:00pm).

Salary

• Up to £63,000 negotiable depending on experience
• Relation allowance of up to £5,000
• 1-year national insurance holiday
• Maximum 20% income tax banding

Candidate requirements

Must be RCVS registered, ideally with small animal veterinary experience and confident in sole charge. Further certification is fully funded and supported.
