Veterinary Surgeon | Buckingham

We have an opportunity for a Vet Surgeon to join a small animal in Buckingham with a staff of 6 Veterinary Surgeons 5 FTE, 6 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Veterinary Nurse and a Veterinary Care Assistant.

Hours

• Ideally working up to 20 hours per week across 2/3 days with a 1:4 Saturday morning
• 1 in 4 Saturday morning
• No OOHs
• Full time, part time and flexible working can all be considered for this role

Applicant Requirements

• Ability to work sole charge
• Good clinical, inter-personal and communication skills
• Capable of handling more complicated consultations and cases
• Competent surgical skills (e.g. Caesarean section, pyometra)
• The desire and ability to improve and progress your skills further in general first opinion practice – it doesn’t have to be mundane and can be fun, rewarding and very fulfilling!

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £75,000 DOE
• Up to £5,000 pro rata welcome bonus and up to £5,000 pro rata relocation allowance
