This independent, supportive and flexible practice are looking for another vet to join the team – whether your a new grad or 30 years post qualified, your skills will be supported and developed here.

All vets – whether recent grad or 30 years qualified – receive support tailored to their needs, along with a fantastic package of benefits. New grads have a designated VetGDP Adviser for the day-to-day, along with access to the well-regarded XLVets Graduate Development Programme. Mentoring for more experienced grads is moulded to the individual’s needs, with practical in-house scanning sessions, theatre-scrub-ins, monthly clinical club discussion groups, or just regular one-to-one chats.

This team of 15 vets includes several Certificate holders along with a wealth of experience, covering imaging, surgery, medicine, dermatology, feline practice (being Gold Cat Friendly) and ECC. They recently extended, providing dedicated areas for 2 scanners and digital x-ray, plus a designated dental room with dental x-ray, and separate cat, dog and isolation wards. There’s even a staff pet kennel area!

There is no night work, as they’ve been using a local OOH provider for 20 years. Late evening shifts are shared fairly across the team, and the Saturday rota is 1 in 4. An experienced colleague is always rota-ed alongside new/recent grads to provide hands-on support.
