Veterinary Surgeon – Cornwall, New Grads Welcome

CORNWALLUP FOR A NEW CHALLENGE THIS SPRING/SUMMER.

We are working with a friendly, independent practice in Cornwall who are looking for a permanent vet to join the team – new grads welcome!

You would be joining the longest established independent practice in Cornwall with a team of 5 Vets, 7 nurses and a large reception team – who were crowned the best vets in Cornwall in 2023.

• New graduate salary £36K, graduate 1-5 yrs 39 to 48K, graduate 6-10 yrs 50-65K with a signing on bonus of 3k
• 4 Day week with 1:4 weekend rota (and following Friday afternoon off or cash in lieu)

Caring is about being connected and strengthening the bond between the pet, it’s owner and them the Vet. They have an established, shared vision and team derived culture with regular whole team workshops which they shut up shop for (last one was based on positive mental psychology and team wellbeing). They meet regularly with additional twice yearly major events which include a CPD day followed by a dinner, hotel and spa day.

This a VetGDP and a Vetsure graduate friendly practice, so new graduates would be hugely supported with a designated mentor.

We are looking for a vet who is excited to learn, work up medical cases with solid surgical skills with support and funding up to certificate level. Interview costs will be covered.
