Veterinary Surgeon ║ Cardiff

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a small animal practice in Cardiff, on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a busy first opinion practice with a very varied caseload.  They have two branches based in Cardiff just 3 miles apart and both have full surgical and diagnostic facilities including in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, digital x-rays including dental x-rays and anaesthetic monitoring equipment such as pulse oximeters and capnographs.

You will join a wonderful team of 8.5 FTE vets and 2 recent graduate vets as well as an experienced nursing team of 11 FTE nurses plus 3 student nurses, 4 nursing assistants and reception team.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, will be professional and keen to develop their skills.

The Role

• Veterinary Surgeon – full-time permanent position
• 4-day week and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
• There is no out of hours work as this is provided by a neighbouring hospital

Salary and Benefits

• Salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience)
• 6.6 weeks paid holiday including bank holidays
• £1750 and 5 days CPD allowance per annum
