We have an opportunity for a permanent vet to join a veterinary practice near Windsor.  All levels of experience considered and salary is flexible according to this experience.

They are an independent practice with great facilities and an experience and supportive team.

  • Full time, 4 days per week
  • No out of hours
  • Weekends 1 in 5 days only with time off in lieu the following week
  • Shifts between 8:30am – 6:30pm, unless there is a surgery meaning start time will be 8am

Some responsibilities include:

  • Performing consultation and medical treatment of animals
  • Undertaking surgical operations (including neutering and general surgery)
  •  Maintaining clinical notes and keeping clients updated regarding the pets treatment and
    any laboratory results
  • Maintaining regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and
    personal appearance
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and the
    general public
  • Handling and supporting other staff in relation to general client enquiries

About You

To qualify for this role, you must:

  • Be a  Member of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
  • Have post qualification experience in small animal practice
  • Have some experience in with large animals would be helpful on occasion
  •  Have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Be computer literate
  • Have strong organisation and time management skills
  • Be able to work well under pressure
  • Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
  • Be enthusiastic
  • Hold a full driving licence
