Veterinary Nurse | Bedfordshire

An exciting opportunity awaits a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team!

Description

This role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities including admitting and discharging patients, conducting duties in theatre, kennels, laboratory, preparation room, dispensary, and x-ray areas. You’ll also manage Nurse Clinics, oversee stock control, ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), assist with some reception duties (primarily for holiday cover), mentor work experience students, and maintain the surgery and equipment with diligence and care.

The Role

• 40 hours a week over 4-5 days
• Flexible shifts between 8am-7pm
• Share in 1:4 Saturday shifts between 8am-1pm
• No OOH required
• 6.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata)

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £29,000 depending on experience
• Day off on your birthday
• £550 CPD allowance for 24 hours paid pro rata
