Theatre Nurse Team Leader – Derby

We have are looking for a Theatre Nurse Team Leader to join our client’s team in Derby.

About The Role

• 40hr week (can pro rata to 38hrs if preferred)
• Worked over 4 days
• Salary £34,000 per annum

Candidate criteria

• Should have experience in a referral setting, ideally within theatre/anaesthesia
• Should be a confident leader, as there is a team of 14 (theatre nurses and VCAs) to lead clinically.
• Admin management such as appraisals can be covered by the nursing manager if the successful candidate just wants to lead clinically, but if you enjoy this aspect of the role you are welcome to pick it up as part of your responsibility.
• Further qualifications in theatre, anaesthesia or management would be desirable but are not essential at this stage.
