Our client is looking for a Surgical Nurse to join their team!

This is a full-time role. Monday to Friday with Saturday morning shifts on a rota (with TOIL).

You’ll be joining a team of 8 Vets, 20 Nurses, 4 Students and 4 Care Assistants. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be exposed to all aspects of Surgical Nursing from patients’ admission through to their recovery phase.

Working closely with the highly respected surgical team you will be assisting with induction of anaesthesia, performing x-ray and CT imaging, patient preparation, anaesthesia, recovery, surgical assistance (scrubbed in) and post-operative rehabilitation. With a number of specialisations across the hospital you will be gaining experience in a number of procedures such as TPLO, Total Hip Replacements, Patella Stabilisations, BOAS, Spinal Surgeries, Fracture repairs, Arthroscopy and Advanced Soft Tissue Surgery.
