Senior RVN – Walsall

We are looking for a Senior Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s  established practice in Walsall.

About The Practice

They are a family-owned small animal surgery with 4 vets, offering primary care as well as a wide range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic spays.

The practice is RCVS accredited and pride themselves on having a high standard of clinical care. They are equipped with the latest technology including digital X-ray, Ultrasound, in-house Laboratory, etc.

Applicant Requirements

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
You will have additional responsibilities in areas of:

• Surgery, in particular laparoscopy and orthopaedics
• Anaesthetics and theatres
• Coaching of junior nurses

You will have:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience
• Level 3 Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing
• RCVS registration

About The Role

• Day shift; 42 hours over 3.5 days
• Monday to Friday
• Full-time, Permanent
• 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
• No out of hours
• Salary up to £32,000 p/a (DOE)
