RVN | Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RVN to join our team at our busy veterinary practice in Mapperley, Nottinghamshire. Our practice prides itself on providing high-quality and compassionate care to our clients and their beloved pets.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team and ensuring the smooth running of the practice. Your responsibilities will include assisting with surgeries, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, providing nursing care to inpatients, and educating clients on pet care and welfare.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified RVN with a passion for animal welfare and a desire to provide exceptional care to our patients. You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but we are willing to consider newly qualified RVNs who are eager to learn and develop their skills.

This is a full-time position, with the possibility of part-time hours for the right candidate. The working hours will be on a rota basis, including weekends, with 1 in 4 weekends required. There are no out-of-hours duties, allowing for a good work-life balance.
