Registered Veterinary Nurse – Stockport | Night Nurse, Part Time

We are looking to recruit an registered veterinary nurse with a passion for Emergency and Critical Care to join our client’s A&E department.

About The Role

• Part-time role
• 22 hours per week,
• The shifts are 9pm – 9am with a 1-hour break. The pattern is on a 2 – week rotation. Week 1 = Tuesday and Wednesday night, Week 2 = Friday and Saturday night
• RVN sole charge from 1am – 7.30am – there is a veterinary surgeon on the premises all night and an auxiliary nurse
• Salary ranging from £18,300 – £21,700 per annum

Candidate Requirements:

• Significant experience as an RVN in small animal veterinary practice (2+ years as a guide)
• An interest in medicine and ECC; possibly with the desire to achieve further qualifications
• Passion for supporting others and engaging in constructive communication
• Confidence in decision making, able to think fast and be dynamic during our busiest periods
