Registered Veterinary Nurse – Gateshead

We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our client’s team located in Gateshead.

You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse who is highly motivated, works well in a team, and thrives in the varied environment of a veterinary hospital. An experience of nurse consults is also highly desirable.

About The Role

This role involves working 38 hours per week over 4 days. The shift patterns are:

• 6.45am-4.45pm
• 8.00am-6.30pm
• 8.30am-6.30pm
• Weekend work is 1 in 4 Saturdays or Sundays 6.45am-6.30pm.

The salary is up to £26,000 depending on experience plus a relocation package of up to £3000 and a welcome bonus of up to £1500

About The Practice

The practice has a range of equipment, including:

• digital and dental radiography,
• flexible and rigid endoscopes,
• in-house lab including haematology,
• biochemistry,
• EPOC machines,
• excellent ultrasound machine with doppler
• wide range of specialised equipment for performing most soft tissue, orthopaedic and endoscopy surgeries.

They also have a dedicated and specialised OOH emergency and critical care team.
