We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Norwich. As a vital member of our veterinary practice, you will work alongside a team of experienced veterinarians, fellow nurses, students, and administrative staff to deliver high-quality care to our patients and excellent service to our clients.


  • Assist veterinarians in surgical procedures, examinations, and treatments
  • Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as required
  • Educate clients on pet care, medications, and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and excellent patient care
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities


  • Registered Veterinary Nurse qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards animals and their owners
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work weekends on a rotational basis (1 in 4 full weekends)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a veterinary practice
