We are seeking an experienced and passionate nurse who thrives on upholding the highest standards of client and patient care. As an integral member of this team, you will demonstrate confidence and proficiency across all facets of veterinary nursing, embracing the diverse range of responsibilities that come with a bustling first opinion practice. From theatre work and inpatient monitoring to nurse clinics and lab duties, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to their valued clients and beloved pets.

About the role:

  • Up to £31,000 per year DOE
  • 24 hours per week spread over three days and a 1:7 Saturday morning rotation (with no out-of-hours requirements)
  • Days that will be required to be worked are: Mon, Wed and Fri, there is flexibility with the shift start/finish times
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave with your birthday as a paid off

Established in 2002, this veterinary group are a dynamic small animal practice nestled on the edge of the picturesque Forest of Dean. Since their inception, they have been dedicated to providing outstanding patient care and exemplary customer service, earning the trust and loyalty of the local community. The practice boasts state-of-the-art equipment including digital x-ray and dental x-ray machines, ultrasound scanners, a spacious operating theatre, endoscopic capabilities, multiparameter monitors, and dedicated cat, dog, and exotic animal kennels.

They pride themselves on fostering a fun and lively team culture, where camaraderie and collaboration thrive. The team comprises six RVNs, one VCA, six vets, and four receptionists, each bringing their unique expertise and passion to our practice.
