Registered Veterinary Nurse – Maternity Cover
Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience plus accommodation if needed.

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team in Alton to cover maternity leave starting in March 2024. Duties will include theatre, inpatient care, and minimal reception duties. They have a varied caseload, with no two days the same and operate 15-minute appointments.
They can be flexible with shifts over a 4 or 5-day week to include 1:3 Saturday mornings until 1.30 pm. No OOH as this service is covered by an external provider.

You will be joining a very well-established, 100% small animal practice located right next to the beautiful South Downs National Park, less than 1 hour from the coast, access to London via train and easy access to Gatwick and Heathrow airport. We continually strive for excellence in management, medicine, and service to enrich and lengthen the special relationship between people and their pets.
They have a visiting orthopaedic surgeon for the more challenging surgical cases and are well equipped with digital x-rays, including dental xray, excellent ultrasound, full range of Idexx lab equipment and dental equipment.

About the role:

• Up to 30k per year
• 4 or 5-day week to include 1:3 Saturday mornings until 1.30 pm
• 6.6 weeks annual leave with your birthday as a paid day off

You will be joining a supportive and committed team of 8 Vets, 5 RVNs, 3 SVNs and 8 Receptionists in 3 well-equipped surgeries on the Hampshire/Surrey border. They offer a vibrant workplace where you will be joining an enthusiastic and motivated team.
