Locum Vet Surgeon – Bridgend | July through October

You can decide between two roles, consulting only day shifts or on full rota including On call, weekends and surgery time. The full rota role is only available for a minimum of a 8 week period.

Consulting only: 4 or 5 days per week, Mon to Fri with a mix of shifts 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm, 10am-7pm or 12pm-8pm. These are a 7 or 8-hour day with a paid coffee break and telephone hour for admin.

On Full Rota:

• Weekend OOH – which is one weekend in four every rota a 1) short weekend = sat and until from 9am until 2pm ( On site) , an 2) On call long weekend from 4pm Fri until 9am,  Sat from 2pm,  Sat/Sun afternoon until 9am the next morning  3) a sat morning 9 to 1.
• On Call – Mon/Tues from 4pm until 8am ( on site until 8/9pm ish) and off Wed/Thurs recovery time or Thurs/Fri on call and off Friday – A set of each per rota.
• Sole charge – Only when doing On call, but even then, there is a senior vet on back available for contact and to come in if required.
