Locum Vet – Guernsey

This role seems too good to be true – but its not.

We are working with a wonderful small animal and equine practice in Guernsey who are looking for a locum vet to cover MAT leave.

• £400 – £500 per day with a flat 20% tax rate
• Free accommodation in a shared house with all facilities
• Ferry fees paid
• Horses you can ride on your off days

Top notch facilities including a fully equipped operating theatre, special procedures room with computerised digital x-radiography, ultrasound scanner and endoscopy equipment, as well as a bespoke dental suite. Their diagnostic laboratory can cope with most common blood, skin, urine and other tests with results usually available within hours, rather than having to send samples away to a commercial laboratory with the inevitable delay that is involved. Individual dog and cat wards minimise stress, maximises health and care. Their new L’Islet surgery is equipped with a state-of-the-art C.T. Scanning unit and also a veterinary hydrotherapy/rehabilitation unit.
