Locum Mixed Vet – Scottish Borders – May- July

We have a lovely 2 site practice here looking for a mixed Vet some interim cover for a few months on the Scottish borders:

• Roughly 50/ 50% mix of small and large animal
• No equine
• Working hours are 8.45am -5pm or 11am – 7pm
• Weekday on call 7pm – 8.30am – 1 night per week
• Weekend on call being 7pm Friday – 8.30am Monday. 1 weekend a month

They don’t have any accommodation available but would be happy to pay an increased rate to cover an air bnb in the area. There are some excellent ones in the area they have used in the past. You’ll be covering predominantly farms and some small holders.  Usual calvings, caesareans, herd health etc…. they are looking from May through to July / August- but if you’ve got less time dos till get in touch as they may well be flexible for a shorter period- such as a month.
