Lead Veterinary Nurse – Essex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Nurse in a 24-Hour veterinary clinic in Essex.

You will be an RCVS Registered Nurse with small animal practice experience, who can demonstrate empathy and initiative when needed. You also understand not only your role but also the capabilities of PCA’s and student nurses, and are eager to help colleagues to develop their skills and knowledge.

The Role

• Hospital Lead Veterinary Nurse – full time permanent position
• 40 hours per week with 1:3 half weekends or 1:6 full
• Fair share of bank holiday cover with time back in lieu
• Minimal on-call duties to support the dedicated night team, if required

Salary and Benefits

• Starting salary £30,000 per annum
• £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
