Lead Vet/Veterinary Surgeon – Reading

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 1-year small animal practice experience to join a friendly team in Reading.

The practice has incredible spacious facilities, in a privileged location with plenty of amenities and a friendly and experienced team. Parking on site and easy connection to motorway and public transport. The practice has the support of a 24-hour Hospital, which will allow you to provide excellent around the clock care to your pets.

In this role you will be exposed to a variety of cases whilst having access to state-of-the-art technologies such as ultrasound, a digital x ray system, endoscopy, and much more.

There is an opportunity for a Lead Vet Role in this clinic which would be a great position for someone looking to take the next step in their career! No previous management experience is necessary if you are interested in a senior position. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with consulting and performing routine procedures sole charge. Special interests not required but are welcome.

Salary and Benefits

• Up to £80,000 (Full time and DOE)
• Certificates encouraged and funded
• Flexible working either full time or part time
• £1500 CPD allowance + 3 days
• VDS/RCVS/BVA Fees paid

• Full time hours will include a 4-day week, part of a weekend and OOH rota
