Head Nurse | North London

We are looking for a Registered veterinary Nurse to join an excellent team at our client’s 24-hour Hospital in North London.

This role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the leading the nursing team. It would suit a confident RVN who is ready to take the next step into a Head Nurse position or who has previous Head Nurse experience.

The clinic has a good surgical and medical caseload, which will enable you to develop your nursing skills fully. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas. You will be supported by a large team of nursing staff including RVNs, SVNs and Patient Care Assistants.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years qualified experience. Clinical coaching experience or at least enthusiasm to become a Clinical Coach is essential.

We are looking for someone who is keen to support and develop the Student Nurses, junior RVNs and Care Assistants and is not afraid to get stuck in with the duties and to lead by example.

The Role

• This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours per week
• You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:8 full weekends
