Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consult Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert consultation and care to our animal patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consultations: Conduct comprehensive consultations with pet owners, providing expert advice on diagnostics, treatments, and preventive care.
  • Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient, ensuring the highest standard of veterinary care.
  • Clinical Excellence: Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Client Communication: Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they are well-informed about their pets’ health and treatment options.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the veterinary team, including surgeons, nurses, and support staff, to provide integrated care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the practice management system.
  • Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest veterinary advancements and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree and current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Significant experience as a Veterinary Surgeon, with a focus on consultations and diagnostics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients.
