Before you can legally practice in the UK as a Veterinary Surgeon or Veterinary Nurse you must register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).

If you qualified from the following regions you can easily register with the RCVS.

  • UK
  • Europe
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • South Africa
  • Canada
  • USA

 

If your country of qualification is not listed above you will need to sit the Statutory Membership Examination in order to qualify.

The registration process is straightforward and usually takes around 25 days once they have received your full application and the necessary documentation which supports this.
