We are looking for a mixed vet to join a friendly independent mixed practice in Herefordshire. This position is suitable for a new grad or an experienced vet.

This role is suitable for a full time Veterinary Surgeon working in a mixed practice under taking truly mixed work. They do our own out of hours work that is shared amongst thr 11 vets.

They have all of the diagnostic equipment you could ever need for medical case work ups. There are also surgery facilities for routine surgery and more advanced surgery such as TTA, tiebacks, orthopaedics, lap spays most soft tissue cases, dental imaging  & surgery. Additional to this are extensive rehab facilities including therapeutic laser therapy, stem cell therapy, stance analyser, hydrotherapy on site so any vets with interests in this area have huge potential to develop their skills.

The large animal work comprises of beef, sheep and small amount of dairy. (No routine TB testing only small numbers of premovement tests) Also some easy horse work and small holders with pet sheep, goats, donkeys and alpacas.
