Night Veterinary Surgeon – Middlesex

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Veterinary Surgeon to join a 24-Hour Hospital in Middlesex.

The practice is excellently equipped with in-house lab, endoscopy, ultrasound, ECG, digital x-ray, dentistry facilities, radioiodine treatment, orthopaedic theatre. They also plan to get CT early 2023.

The Role

• Night Veterinary Surgeon – full-time permanent position, providing the region with out of hours patient care
• The shift pattern is 7 nights on and 21 nights off, shared with other night vets
• Working on average 24.5 hours per week
• You will be supported by a night RVN team and the day team at the hospital
• The role would suit a vet with at least one year’s sole charge experience looking for a healthy work-life balance and a varied caseload
• Hours are 7pm to 9am, Monday to Sunday every four weeks
• You will be working 13 weeks/year

We are looking for a good all-round GP Veterinary surgeon, and you will be covering all routine first opinion small animal work with consults and ops where required. You must be able to cover the basic surgeries.
