Neurology Nurse – Derby (KH- 21639)

Our client is seeking a Neurology Nurse to join their team. The role is a varied position where your Nursing skills will be fully utilised.

Whilst every day is different, your core responsibilities will include:

• Triaging emergency cases
• Inpatient care
• Physiotherapy
• Cytarabine clinics
• Post-operative rechecks
• Client support clinics
• Monitoring sedations/GA’s for procedures including MRI’s
• Owner updates
• Attending clinical rounds
• Assisting with consults
• Organising external advanced lab samples

Desirable skills and experience:
1. Experience working within a Neurology discipline.
2. Experience working within a referral hospital.
3. Experience in rehabilitation.

You will also have the opportunity to work closely with our rehabilitation team, which consists of experienced Physiotherapists and Hydrotherapists.

To be successful, you will have the drive to learn new skills and to constantly expand your knowledge base. They hold monthly nurse-led Webinars on a variety of specialist subjects and a generous CPD budget is available for you to utilise.
