An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen for a part time practice manager in Haverhill! You would be working alongside an experienced team including two clinical directors and another part time practice manager. We are looking for someone for ideally 20-24 hours per week over a 4-day week, however we can be flexible on days and timings depending on the candidate.

Day to day duties would include:

  • Promoting business development
  • Leadership of the team
  • Handling HR incidents
  • Processing Payroll, scheduling of staff, absence management, approval of holiday requests and arranging adequate cover
  • Recruitment
  • Debt management
  • Handling complaints
  • Help maintain practice standards
  • Promote growth of employees as individuals as well as a team

This is a two-branch practice based in the Suffolk countryside. The first branch is a busy mixed practice based in a picturesque Suffolk village treating both small animal and equine patients, whilst the second is a purpose-built small animal clinic boasting impressive and spacious facilities. They have the ability to offer in house diagnostics Lab and radiograph suite which is equipped with ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy as well as dental x-ray.

This team consists of 6 vets, 5 nurses, 1 student nurse, 2 nursing assistants and a dedicated reception team all consisting of varying ages and experience. They aim to put client care at the forefront of everything we do and encourage a supportive and nurturing team environment.
