We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly team in Woking. You will have a a varied working day with shifts ranging from anaesthetic monitoring, care of inpatients, nurse consultations, assisting reception, drug dispensing, lab work, and maintaining a sterile work environment. The role will allow for great clinical exposure and the opportunity to work amongst a friendly and supportive team.

About the role:

  • Up to £31,000 per year plus £1,500 relocation assistance
  • Full time, 40 hours per week, earliest start is 8am and the latest finish is 7.30pm
  • Saturdays are 1 in 4, 8am-4pm with a Friday off the following weekend
  • 6.6 weeks annual leave with your birthday as a paid day off

You would be joining a progressive practice who have just relocated to a brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, The practice maintains state of the art clinical equipment such dental radiography, Virtual Veterinary equipment (VVS) ultrasound scanners, anaesthetic multiparameter and patient warming equipment and a purpose-built grooming salon.

They have a loyal client base and a gold standard reputation across the local community. With transport links to London and the beauty and history of Surrey on their doorstep ready to explore.

This team consists of 7 Veterinary Surgeons who are supported by a great team of 9 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants and experienced Receptionists across the Group. The management team are very experienced and work continuously to provide an environment where all staff feel valued, listened to and provided with a developmental pathway. The team is friendly and supportive throughout and ensuring the mental and physical well-being of all staff is a high priority for those in leadership and management roles.
