Veterinary Nurse – Cobham, 34k per year

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, full-time RVN nurse to join a team of 4 nurses and 5 vets, to work in a newly refurbished branch in Cobham. This is a growing family-owned independent practice with four branches in Surrey.

About the role:

• Up to £34,000 per year
• 9am-6pm working hours Mon-Fri (40 hour week)
• No OOH
• 1:4 Saturday mornings (9am – 1pm) with the previous Thursday off in lieu

This practice is equipped with x-ray, brand new theatre suite, ECG, capnography, Bair Hugger, doppler, and dental x-ray on site, with ultrasound, endoscopy and class IX laser at Hersham. They have separate dog and cat waiting areas, consulting rooms and kennels.

Nurses in this practice are all highly trained, experienced and an excellent source of advice and education to help take holistic care of their pets and pick up on any signs of disease early. They provide clinics for weight management, dental care, senior pets care, puppy and kitten care, fireworks phobia or behavioral issues as well as general clinics for claw clipping, anal gland expression or worming and flea advice and administration. Most nurse clinics are free of charge and client find them extremely helpful, informative and useful.

You will be working alongside another RVN and surgical and consulting vet. The role comprises of anaesthesia monitoring, varied nurse clinics, building relationships with our clients, and supporting the vets and receptionists.
