Veterinary Nurse – Cheshire

We are currently recruiting for an RVN to join a busy tier 3 accredited hospital to support their existing teams in providing exceptional care to patients. The role involves working between both prep/theatre and inpatient care.

The role involves providing high quality peri-operative care to surgical patients, monitoring of anaesthesia, including emergency and critically ill patients, preparing patients for surgery and scrubbing into procedures if required, undertaking both general and theatre nursing, including the maintenance and preparation of sterile supplies and instruments and infection control. You will be working closely alongside an experienced team of vets, nurses and animal care assistants at a hospital that has been voted The Best Vets in Cheshire for 2 years on the run!

About the role:

• Up to £31,220 per year
• 38 hours over a 4 day week
• Shifts between 7 am – 8:30pm
• 1:4 weekends with days in lieu the following week
• RCVS paid
• CPD supported and encouraged with a generous budget
• Separate dedicated night team, stock control and lab technicians so nurses do solely nurse!

They actively promote career development with several of their nurses having completed or working towards certificates in anaesthesia, ECC, exotics, behaviour and medicine. They also offer plenty of opportunity for in-house CPD provided by Vets, nurses and access to a learning platform.
