Head Veterinary Nursing | Gloucestershire

A new and exciting opportunity to join our client’s small animal practice based in Gloucestershire.

They are looking to hire a new Head Veterinary Nurse to join the team at their busy, well-established practice in Cheltenham. Within the role, you will predominantly manage a multi-branch team of 16 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 3 Student Veterinary Nurses with the support of a Nurse Manager and multiple branch Head Nurses. You will support the management team in implementing changes associated with new and current protocols, assist with health and safety policies and the practice standards scheme, whilst also ensuring the smooth day to day running of the practice, including stock management and rotation.

The Role

• Working full time hours 37.25 hours/week
• four-day week pattern with 1:4 Saturday mornings
• No OOH

Salary and Benefits

• Salary up to £41,000 depending on experience
• Increasing holiday allowance based on length of service
• 6.6 weeks annual leave
• £550 CPD allowance for 3 days paid pro rata

• VDS cover
