Near Sheffield – Exotics Veterinary Surgeon required

Our client, based near Sheffield, is seeking an Exotics Veterinary Surgeon for their team.

• Small animal practice with a bias towards Exotics and Avian clients
• Full time: 4 days/40 hours a week (10 hour days)
• No OOH required
• 1:7 Saturday working (8:30-3)

Our client is seeking an Exotics Veterinary Surgeon to join their team near Sheffield.

This thriving practice boasts the latest gadgets and equipment, including: laparoscopic kit, CO2 laser, extensive in-house laboratory, and modern x-ray facilities.

Successful applicants would join a team of 10 Vets, 10 RVNs, 1 SVN and 8 receptionists.

This exciting opportunity, for a driven Exotic Veterinary Surgeon, would suit an experienced exotic certificate holder or advanced practitioner as we have a large exotic caseload. Primarily working with reptiles, avian, and small mammals, in addition to cats and dogs, this practice also provides occasional care for local wildlife parks

You will be a strong, self-sufficient individual, capable of working independently and of providing leadership and guidance to the veterinary team by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Your duties will include routine consultations, operations, fulfilling prescription requests, and answering client queries by email and on the phone. You will have a passion for delivering clinic healthcare excellence to ensure that your clients and their pets receive the very highest standard care. Everyone is usually insured and there is plenty of opportunity to provide the highest level of care to their loyal client base.
