Our client, based in Bristol, is seeking a Exotics RVN for their team.

• Small and exotics practice
• Full time (40 hours), part time considered

Our client is seeking an Exotics RVN to join their team in Bristol, in their flagship hospital of their multi-branch practice.

You will be working alongside RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioners in Zoological Medicine, WAVMA Certified Aquatic Species Vets as well as exotic species certificated nurses. The hospital has access to state of the art facilities and equipment, including Endoscopy, CT scanner, digital radiography, ultrasonography and an exotic species only ward, theatre and procedural space. At times there will be an expectation to work alongside the first opinion cat and dog team, which include a large team of certificate holding vets and nurses.

The position will sit within the referral level exotic species service. The practice has a large, varied case load, including zoological collections, falconry centres, and aquatic species (including aquariums) as well as the more commonly seen non-traditional companion animals.

You will be carrying out veterinary nursing duties and will assist veterinary surgeons with minor clinical procedures and administer treatments. You will contribute to high-quality animal care and building good relationships with clients and will have a passion for delivering clinic healthcare excellence to ensure that your clients and their pets receive the very highest standard care.
