Locum Vet – Gloucestershire Independent Jan 2024

We have a maternity cover role wirh this lovely easy going, independent, small animal practice in Gloucestershire:

• They have 2 branches
• No on call
• 1 in 3 saturday mornings until 12.30pm.
• They would also consider a part time candidate.

This is a decent sized 7 vet practice, the smaller branch is mostly staffed by the same vet so possible to create a role with little to no sole charge.  A full time position averages 3.8 days a week on a rolling 6 week rota. There is an excellent work life balance here with 1 day off a week, every other Friday is a 1pm finish (with 1 in 6 fridays being a full day off). There is a laid back and friendly non corporate atmosphere with daily operating and admin time with a maximum of 3 x 1.5hr consulting blocks a day (no monotonous days of endless consulting). There are excellent transport links here as it’s just off the M5 and not that far from the M4 junction.

Very commutable to Bristol, Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester and Bath. Accommodation can be provided.
