Veterinary Radiographer- West Sussex

We have an exciting opportunity for a veterinary radiographer to join this new Diagnostic Imaging department based in West Sussex.

This is the sister company of this growing independent vet group in Sussex. They provide a range of seamless advanced care for their existing patients that require additional specialist care. As well as external vets looking to refer their patients for more in-depth investigations and treatments.  Working from this recently refurbished  state-of-the-art Hospital

Based out of their main 24/7 small animal hospital. You will work closely with their Advanced Practitioner in Diagnostic Imaging and be supported by their experienced veterinary nursing team.

The role is full-time, based on 40 hours per week, generally Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm.

At present, the imaging service is not available on weekends or bank holidays so there is no requirement to work these days. As the service grows, this may be re-evaluated; overtime pay or time off in lieu would always be given for any weekend or bank holiday work if applicable.

Applicants must be qualified diagnostic radiographers holding either an honours degree in Diagnostic Radiography, or other relevant degree/qualification, HCPC registered with experience working with CT imaging and digital radiography. While full training will be given on the intricacies of veterinary image acquisition, previous veterinary experience is advantageous but not essential.

The equipment they currently use includes; a 32-slice Siemens Somaton Go. Now CT scanner and a Digital radiography machine.
