Head Veterinary Nurse – Cheshire

• No out of hours
• Salary up to £32,000 depending on experience

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week over 5 days. The shifts are between 8:00am and 7:00pm with no out of hours and occasional weekend cover.

The role will include:

• managing all aspects of the nursing team
• ensuring excellent teamwork and the highest level of clinical care
• managing stocking levels
• organising training to ensure a high level of nursing care
• monitoring staff performance & coordinate biannual appraisals
• organising and attending meetings
• updating all current veterinary legislation
• clinical coaching
• and equipment maintenance.

About The Practice

The practice is a single site, purpose-built, small animal practice with 6 consult rooms, an in-house laboratory, digital x-rays, ultrasound and two theatres as well as separate dog and cat wards. Our client is RCVS PSS accredited and a training practice. They have large car parks to the front and back of the clinic.
