Locum Equine Vet – Lanark

We are looking for a locum equine vet join our client’s team based in Lanark. 

• Through August to the beginning of September 
• Competitive daily rate 

About The Role 

We are looking for an equine vet to work at our client’s practice from the 1st of August through to and including the 8th of September 2023. Our client would like you to work a five-day week with some out of hours evening work and out of hours weekend work, and the work would be predominantly be ambulatory work with care of hospital inpatients out of hours. 

Our client would also be happy to discuss any cover that someone would be able to provide, even if it was just out of hours cover. 

About The Practice 

Our client the largest private equine veterinary practice in Scotland, and their team of 12 highly-trained vets, all of whom either have or are taking postgraduate training, are here to help horse owners 24/7. 

Since opening in 2005, their custom-built, fully-equipped equine hospital, located on the south side of Lanark, has treated more than 2000 referral cases. They also offer an experienced ambulatory service, caring for all types of horses, ponies and donkeys in most of central Scotland.
