Veterinary Surgeon – Birmingham

The ideal candidate has experience in SA veterinary medicine, whom is positive, with a good sense of humour and a growth mind-set. They can also welcome graduates.

The clinic is open 8-7 weekdays, 9-6 Saturday, no Sundays. Saturday rota is 1 in 4, sole charge, consulting only.  Vets are given one set ops day per week, however consult only roles considered.

About The Practice

Our client is a 3.5 vet practice with 3 RVN’s, 1 SVN’s, and 2 ANA’s, 5 reception staff and a Practice Manager (RVN). The clinic sees a varied caseload with a high proportion of insured clients. They are exclusively small animals comprising approximately 45% dogs, 40% cats, 10% rabbits, 5% other small furries. Their days are scheduled with 15 minute consults with a catch up/break scheduled every 4-5 consults. The last appointment time is 6:45pm. There is also 15-30mins (depending on shift length) of time given in the middle of the day for calls, usually immediately post lunch which is a 1 hour break.
