We are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s team as a Clinical Director. The practice is located near Peterhead, Aberdeenshire.

  • Must be RCVS registered
  • Competitive salary up to £70,000 negotiable depending on experience.

About The Role

The role also includes working on clinical caseloads so a keen interest in surgery would be beneficial, as the role will comprise a mix of both consulting and general surgery including dentistry with at least one dedicated ops day every week.

You will be working up to 40 hours per week across 5 days and there is a weekend rota of 1:4 weekends.

About The Practice

Our client has a light, spacious waiting room, 4 consulting rooms, one of which is a dedicated nurse consult room. There are 2 operating theatres (one of which is dirty ops/x-ray room). They have dental x-ray and currently have a vet and nurse proactively reviewing/upgrading our dentistry provision with the aim of introducing staged dental procedures and improved preventative dental care. Their in-house lab comprises Idexx analysers and microscope. Additionally, they have ultrasound, therapeutic laser, endoscopy, electrocautery, suction, tonometer, and selection of orthopaedic kit (sufficient to allow fracture repairs & cruciate surgery by MMP or TPLO).
