Veterinary Surgeon – Newcastle

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our client’s team in Newcastle. They have built a wonderfully diverse and loyal client base as well as an excellent reputation for their high standards of clinical care and being a caring and committed team.

• Salary up to £60,000 per annum pro-rata DOE

About The Role

The role is ideally suited to someone who is confident in routine surgeries and medicine but who is also interested in further developing their current skillset.

It is full-time including four shifts 8.30am-7pm with a regularly scheduled day off every week, and two out of three Saturdays 9-12 (consults only). Our client can discuss part-time hours if you are looking for flexibility. There is no Sunday work, out of hours or on-call required. Some sole charge will be necessary, but support from the rest of the team is only a phone call away.

You will be given the clinical freedom and autonomy to treat your patients as you see fit, while still benefiting from the support of experienced veterinary surgeons and skilled nursing team.

About The Practice

Our client’s stand-alone surgery is purpose built to deliver the highest clinical standards and provides excellent facilities, giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients. They believe in practicing evidence-based medicine and so discussions about new treatments, techniques and developments are always welcome.

You will be joining a clinical team of five vets, four RVNS, two SVNS and four VCAs who are all guided and supported by our dedicated Head Nurse and Clinical Lead
