We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our client’s team. The practice is located near Newcastle.

  • Full or Part time role
  • Weekend rota of 1 in 2 or 4 Saturdays and 1 in 4 Sundays
  • Competitive salary of £45-65k, dependent on experience

About The Role

This role will be a mixture of consults and surgery with the potential for a surgical bias and certification. However, our client is open to all interests.

They can accommodate full or part time hours and are flexible in how these are worked.  The weekend rota is currently 1 in 2 or 4 Saturdays and 1 in 4 Sundays.  No OOHs and no on call is required.

We are looking for a vet who ideally has some experience in general practice with basic consults and surgeries to work with our client.

About The Practice

Our client is an RCVS accredited, busy first opinion practice which opened in 2008.  The team consists of 4 vets, 8 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 VCA and 6 receptionists. Within the vet team they have interests in ultrasonography, internal medicine, and acupuncture and are always looking to add more.

A focus on becoming an integral part of the local community has led us to build an excellent reputation and a fantastic client base.
