We are looking for a senior veterinary surgeon to join our client’s 12 vet practice in Lancashire.

  • 4 day week, 1 in 5 Saturdays
  • No Out of Hours, Bank Holidays or Sundays
  • Salary range up to £65,000 depending on experience

About The Role

The role responsibilities include:

  • Leading a small clinical team
  • Develop area of expertise, ideally CertAVP
  • Undertake more technically challenging case management
  • Active in developing the practice & generating income
  • Mentoring / VetGDP advisor to New Graduates
  • Carrying out PDRs
  • Actively undertake leadership development
  • Solid commercial acumen and understanding of veterinary business

Additional managerial responsibilities e.g. managing complaints, authorising insurance cases
