Equine Vet – Durham

We have an excellent opportunity for an equine ambulatory vet to join busy 5 vet team located in Durham.

• 1 in 10 weekend on call working pattern (once confident)
• Competitive salary negotiable, starting from £34,000 depending on experience

About The Role

This is the perfect opportunity for someone starting out and wanting to hone their skills in all aspects of equine clinical practice within a supportive experienced team. The team would help you to develop your knowledge and allow you to follow your areas of interest to ensure that you are confident and fulfilled within your role within the practice.

New Grad vets will have the opportunity to be a part of the Graduate Development Programme. In this, you will be able to embrace a blended learning approach of training days, in-house mentoring, CPD, and clinical practice, creating a varied platform for you to grow and develop as a Veterinary Surgeon. You will be offered both supportive 1-to-1 and group mentoring sessions, for engagement and interaction, as you develop an invaluable skillset. From surgical/medical experience, to enjoying teamwork, providing refined customer service, and gaining business knowledge to support the security of great patient care.
