Mixed Vet – Ballymoney

We are looking for a veterinary surgeon to join our client’s team in Ballymoney.

The ideal candidate would be an RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon, preferably with some previous experience in either a large or small animal practice however, the pracice would welcome a motivated recent graduate.

About The Role

Our client offers a truly mixed role with a good ration of 50:50, SA to farm. Large animal work comprises mostly dairy, with small amounts of beef, sheep and some equine (if desired).

• Usually start at 9am with consults, followed by some large animal calls later in the morning.
• After lunch, if time, help with small animal appointments would be appreciated
• Followed by further large animal calls in the afternoon.
• On average one day per week is dedicated to TB testing and most days finish around 5.30pm.
• 4-4.5 days per week, plus on call rota
• Salary up to £65,000 based on full-time hours, depending on experience
