Farm Vet Surgeon, Clinical Lead – Cornwall

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Farm Veterinary Surgeon join a veterinary practice in Cornwall.

They are looking for someone to become their Clinical Lead with potential to quickly progess to Clinical Director for the right candidate. We provide the opportunity to further develop the dairy side of the practice

About The Practice

The practice is a mixed team. Some of their vets carry out solely farm work, others purely equine with a range in between and are therefore able to offer flexibility on work, but can be 100% farm role.

They have 2 full time TB testers meaning minimal testing for clinical vets. Regular team meetings and appraisals

About The Role

They provide the opportunity to further develop the dairy side of the practice and many other aspects of the business as the practice continues to grow and keep up to date with technology and life!

The role can be tailored to suit the individual.

The Rota

• Encourages time off after nights and weekends on call
• The current rota is 2:8, so 1 in 4 nights and weekends with 2 vets on call for farm only.

The successful candidate would be:

• Able to work within a team and individually.
• A good communicator with vets, office staff and clients
• A positive, proactive and flexible individual
